Terms of Service

Effective date: [DATE] · Last updated: [DATE]

Draft for legal review. This document is not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified Nigerian lawyer before publication.

1. About StudyGee

StudyGee is an educational technology platform owned and operated by Nexwad. It helps students learn, practise, assess understanding, access educational materials, and improve academic performance.

We may provide practice questions, assessments, subject resources, progress information, teacher-created content, accounts, notifications, personalised learning recommendations, and other educational tools. StudyGee does not guarantee admission, examination results, grades, employment, academic promotion, or any particular educational outcome.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. Do not share an account, impersonate anyone, or use the platform for anything other than lawful educational purposes.

If you are under the applicable age of digital consent or otherwise need parental or guardian involvement under applicable law, you may use StudyGee only with the necessary permission or authorisation. Teachers and contributors must accurately represent their qualifications and affiliations.

3. Educational use and academic integrity

  • Do not cheat, facilitate academic dishonesty, obtain unauthorised examination answers, or circumvent assessment security.
  • Do not copy, scrape, reproduce, or redistribute protected StudyGee content without permission.
  • Do not gain unauthorised access, interfere with the platform, upload malicious code, or abuse vulnerabilities.
  • Do not harass others or upload unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise prohibited material.

4. Learning data and personalisation

We process learning activity—including subjects studied, attempted questions, answers, results, progress, materials accessed, interactions, preferences, and necessary device information—to provide and improve educational services.

This helps us understand learning patterns, identify areas needing practice, improve recommendations and content, measure platform performance, detect abuse, and develop learning features. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.

5. User content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of User Content you lawfully own. By submitting it, you grant Nexwad a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, display, distribute, and otherwise use it as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and provide StudyGee.

StudyGee software, branding, designs, databases, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Nexwad. You may use proprietary content only through the platform for legitimate educational purposes; you may not reproduce, sell, redistribute, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit it without written permission.

6. Content, availability, and enforcement

Contributors are responsible for lawful, accurate, appropriate content and must have rights to submit it. We may review, moderate, restrict, edit, remove, or decline submitted content. Educational material may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information, so important information should be verified with authoritative sources.

We aim for reliable availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts to protect the platform or users, prevent abuse or fraud, meet legal obligations, or respond to security incidents. You may request account deletion, subject to legally permitted retention.

7. Changes, law, and contact

We may update these Terms as StudyGee or legal requirements change and will communicate material changes through reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Contact: Nexwad — StudyGee, [LEGAL/CONTACT EMAIL].
